about

Come Back Alice, co-written with Andy Evans, tells the story of a friend lost to to the rabbit hole of QAnon conspiracy theories using the characters from Alice in Wonderland.. The tragedy of the lives and relationships lost to these conspiracy theories now threatens our very democracy.
If only the struggle for democracy and a healthy planet captured our imaginations with such dedication....Guess that's up to us.

lyrics

Alice I cannot believe your views
Since you fell in with Agent Q
He pulled you down his creepy cyber hole
As fast and far as you could go
Said he’d make you tall
But you kept getting small
Wandering through a wonderland
Of plots and pediphiles
Come back Alice, Make me smile.

The Hatters mad and that’s a fact
Thinks he matters, don’t make me laugh
Creepy caterpillar feeds you clues
That lead the way to angry views
There’s talk of drinking blood
They claim the earth is flat
While a fat cat says, honey you don’t need to wear a mask
Oh Alice, please come back

Some folks might be led
To cutting off your head
So come up out of that hole
And have some tea instead.
Your kids love you
I miss our morning walks
Come back Alice
Come on up and we’ll go to the park.

I don’t like the way the March hare acts
He peddles lies and call them facts
There’s the March hare dreaming of the day
The Q storm comes and sets us straight
Predictions, prescriptions are not for me
But in my zodiac
I forecast you’ll leave these wretched fakes
Come back Alice, my heart aches

Some folks might be led
To cutting off your head
So come up out of that hole
And have some tea instead

You say it’s my turn to play a part
I cannot find the heart
No way I could really be the Queen
That’s such a desperate dream
We’ve got big problems
So please don’t stay down there
Breathe some air, be aware that what you speculate
Feeds more hate than I can bear.
